The Tiree Wave Classic becomes the Corona Extra PWA World Cup in 2007
The PWA World Cup Event is planned for the 6-13 October 2007.
The Tiree Wave Classic (UKWA) Event will run from the 3-5 October.

8/10/200747 of the The World's best windsurfers at The Corona Extra PWA World Cup, The UK's first ever Wave World Cup, being staged on the Isle of Tiree from 6 - 13 October, were given the opportunity to show off their freestyle tricks today (Monday 8 October). The judges decided to use the calmer weather conditions on the island for an unofficial freestyle expression session jumping contest with one of the event sponsor's, Go Fast Energy Drinks, throwing in a $750 prize pot for the winner.

02 July 2007The dates for the Corona Extra PWA World Cup and the annual UKWA Tiree Wave Classic have now been confirmed.
- The Tiree Wave Classic (UKWA) will run from Wednesday 3rd to Friday 5th October.
- The Corona Extra PWA World Cup will be held from Saturday 6th to Saturday 13th October.
Excitement is building on Tiree at being the first ever hosts of a PWA World Cup Event in Scotland and the whole island is looking forward to what will, undoubtedly, be an amazing spectacle. ..read more..
